General Rules:
• All cars will meet at Kansas International Dragway and do a cruise to House of Schwan for a group photo & some Monster Energy and back to K.I.D
No Chase vehicles allowed, hoods will remain down & extra fuel needs to be carried in vehicle.
• Vehicle must be street legal with Current Registration, Tag, and Insurance (Bring Proof)
• Tires must be D.O.T. approved (any size) FWD cars can run slicks to keep them competitive and time will be allowed to change tires after the cruise. (Except for Radial class)
• Driver and Passenger windows must be operational
• Some sort of Mufflers (No dumps, Inserts or Straight Pipes)
• Operational Headlights, Tail lights & Turn Signals
• 2 front seats or full bench seat, No totally gutted interior. Must have carpet and stock appearing dash, all cages allowed.
• Tub/Mini tub with any size tire size is allowed (except True Radial class)
• You will get 3 qualifying passes (At least 2 of them will be back to back)
• No Sandbagging during qualifying (You must run your car hard every pass for proper class placement)
• No power adder adjustment’s after qualifying for Limited or Street classes
• If times are not consistent with qualifying times, we will investigate for sandbagging & possible elimination.
• .400 Pro Tree
• Must be self starting (No support vehicle allowed)
• Cars will be paired using an NHRA Pro Ladder
Extreme Class: Sponsored by Mid States Auto Sales
• We will start with the fastest car and work our way through the qualifying order to a competitive ET break
Street Classes: A & B Rules:
• These are the left over cars after the Extreme & Limited classes are placed into their classes.
We will then break this into Street Class A & Street Class B
• Minimum break out time will be posted (go faster than that time and your eliminated)
Street Class A: Sponsored by Putnam Performance
• After qualifying this is the faster half of the field
Street Class B: Sponsored by Don Schmid Salvage
• After qualifying this is the bottom half of the field
Limited Class: Sponsored by Sanctuary Tattoo
• We will start with the slowest car and work our way through the qualifying order to a competitive ET break
• Minimum break out time will be posted (go faster than that time and you’re eliminated)
True Radial: Sponsored By Wichita Material Recovery
• True Everyday Radial tires, No Drag Radials, Caps, Competition or Slicks. This also applies to FWD cars.
• Tire size is limited to 275/60 unless factory installed larger allowed. Example Vette/Viper/Lightning
• No Minitub/notching of the frame allowed, tire must fit within factory wheel well
• Single power adder only. No multi stage nitrous systems.
IRS Classes: Sponsored by GForce Engineering
• General Rules apply and must have an Independent Rear Suspension. Example: newer GTO’s, Cobra’s, etc
• Naturally Aspirated Class
• Power Adder Class
FWD Class: Sponsored By Fusion Works Racing
• General Rules apply, must be front wheel drive
• 25” Max Tall Tire, No Wheelie Bars
Bike Class: Sponsored By Morley’s Muscle
• Bikes must follow general rules that apply to a bike: DOT Tire, lights, etc.
• Single Power adder only
Pre-Registration Entry will be $35 ($37 PayPal) for each of these classes & includes participant shirt PIPO BBQ & gate admission for one. Pre-Registration is open until April 23, after you will need to pay gate admission and $50 entry to us in person. Spectators will be $10 at the gate and 12 & under Free
This is meant to be something fun for everyone who enjoys street cars & heads up racing. Payouts will be based off of entry fees and sponsor donations, so the more cars the better pay out it will be.
Shirts will be given at the track & reserved to pre registered entries first. A list of paid registered racers will be posted on TrueStreetShootout.com to help show attendance along with Registration Information
Entry cards will be mailed or delivered out to all pre registered
(Do not lose your entry card or you will have to pay at the gate to get in)
